The partnership has paid for lavish conferences in Monaco and helped bring Burisma’s oligarchic founder out of the cold.
This alliance has remained stable even as official Washington goes to war over allegations by President Donald Trump and his allies that former Vice President Joseph Biden fired a Ukrainian prosecutor to defend his son’s handsomely compensated position on Burisma’s board.

DC’s Atlantic Council raked in funding from Hunter Biden’s corruption-stained employer while courting his VP father

One the pivotal actors of the Russian Collusion story, Atlantic Council, Obama administration and Burisma is Evelyn Farkas. As former Obama administration official and advocate for Burisma Holdings. Farkas aligned herself with Hunter and Joe Biden by doing everything in her power to clear the name of Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma and ex Ukrainian minister who bought a Cyprian passport in order to avoid prosecution in Kyev.

Since Farkas left the Department of Defense, where she served under President Obama, she has worked as a think tank analyst and media commentator.
While working as a nonresident fellow at the Atlantic Council, Farkas traveled to Ukraine on a Burisma-funded trip, where she visited the company’s facilities while wearing a jacket and hat that featured the Burisma logo, the Washington Free Beacon reported in March. She also participated in a 2018 conference bankrolled by the company.
