On this day in 1945 the battle of ‘t Woold near Winterswijk was fought. After clearing Bocholt British soldiers crossed the Dutch border. In ‘t Woold they met heavy resistance of very young German soldiers. Armed with panzerfausts they knocked out 10 of the 60 Sherman tanks. #WW2 pic.twitter.com/RaFkmDf6wS
