The Center for Responsive Politics in a recent research claims that the unprecedented numbers represent trends driven by Supreme Court battles and contested races for Congress and the White House. The spending includes adaptation of logistics to pandemic environment and huge increase in classic and online advertisement and other related technologies that are funneled through PACs.
This year’s election will see more spending than the previous two presidential election cycles combined, said the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan, independent and nonprofit research group that tracks money in US politics and its effect on elections and public policy.
