United States apparently blocked any efforts of saving American and Israeli hostages from tunnels that connect Rafah and Egypt
Some reports indicate that Hamas leadership and some hostages may be hidden in the Egyptian side of the tunnels. The tunnels were and apparently are used for smuggling missiles, Al-Jazeera reporters and other contraband.
